For those lucky enough to celebrate "Father's Day" every day of the year, I say congratulations. I am very lucky to have 3 great children that seem to enjoy spending time with me and doing things with me. I am a very lucky man and Father. I am amazed and awed by them as I have watched them grow to young adults, as they learned new things along the way and from all the things they have taught me. Yes, that's what I said. Fatherhood should not be taken lightly It is an honor bestowed on us & we should rise up to the occasion. And in the process we learn from them and they help us grow and mature into who we become.
I cherish every day as "Father's Day", and the best Father's Day gift of all is the smile, the kiss, the hug, the eye contact, the phone calls and doing things together not just today, but all year long.
In the end, all we have are the memories we create, keep & pass on.
Happy Fathers Day to my Dad & all Dads & to all who have Dad's...

Descriptions
At 7:00 pm on June 29. A brief introduction to Portuguese cuisine, spices and wines with Manny Lopes (Cooking with Dad TV) and Chef Rocha of Primavera Restaurant, Ludlow, followed by a hands on and demonstration to include:
1) Appetizer: Shrimp Mozambique, a spicy barbecued shrimp with African origins
2) Soup: Sopa Alentjana, a easy to make garlic based soup with coriander and egg
3) Entrée: Carne' de Porco Alentjana, a fusion of marinated pork cubes, potatoes & clams.
4) Dessert: Bolo de Bolacia, (the Portuguese Tiramisu)
Accompanied by a Portuguese red & white wine.
